Limit digital media for your youngest family members. Avoid digital media for toddlers younger than 18 to 24 months other than video chatting. For children 18 to 24 months, watch digital media with them because they learn from watching and talking with you. Limit screen use for preschool children, ages 2 to 5, to just 1 hour a day of high-quality programing. Co-viewing is best when possible and for young children. They learn best when they are re-taught in the real world what they just learned through a screen. So, if Ernie just taught the letter D, you can reiterate this later when you are having dinner or spending time with your child. This is getting old. I mean, really.

This family is hella entertaining, photogenic and interesting.

But nothing was going on here but a family enjoying tacos. With a cute photo that Pink made sweet with her

chatter, isn't it kind of boring by this family's usual standards?

At least twice a week on tour, we shut the door to the outside world and have family dinner. As you can see, it makes Jameson feel deep, deep joy. #lastedsevenminutes #gratitude #space #conversation #loosescrews

"At least twice a week on tour, we shut the door to the outside world and have family dinner. As you can see, it makes James feel deep, deep joy," Pink wrote. She included the hashtags #lastedsevenminutes #gratitude #space #conversation #loosescrews.

Almost saccharin right? Especially considering recent headlines for social media postings. Like:

  • Pink's hubby Carey Hart jokes about 'parent fail 287' as daughter pops balloons with knife
  • Pink's husband Carey Hart pokes 'parent police' with video of daughter firing a rifle
  • Pink slams trolls after Nathan Phillips post, says dad was a Vietnam veteran

Still, some troll had to go and spoil it with the comment, "except it’s posted on ig.”

Pink, known for her demure demeanor — that is a joke — clapped back, "Yes I like to promote healthy stuff,” she replied. “I also like to remind people to stop being TOTAL DOUCHE BAGS TOO. Consider this your reminder, F--o."

Don't try to fix everything. Give young kids a chance to find their own solutions. When you lovingly acknowledge a child's minor frustrations without immediately rushing in to save her, you teach her self-reliance and resilience.

Sigh.

After getting the what-for, the commenter replied, "I was coming to see ya Sunday night in Nashville....still love the music."

Pink, in the midst of her Beautiful Trauma tour, did not get the warm fuzzies, responding, "that doesn't change my answer. That just makes you confused."

Leave the family alone to post a fun pre-taco night pic. We'll all have plenty to write , er, talk about another time.
